160 boxes packed & sent to families to help tackle food poverty ?? ? Just before Christmas some of our team headed down to FareShare South West to help pack food boxes. FareShare UK sends these boxes on to charities around Bristol and the local area. The food goes to families depending on free school meals and helps stop parents from going hungry in order to feed their children at Christmas. To make it even better, FareShare uses food that would have otherwise gone to waste. Not only does this lower carbon emissions from food waste, it also empowers the families to know they’re having a positive environmental impact ?? It was a pleasure as usual to get stuck in there.
