Thai Basil Pork Stir Fry Recipe

Ingredients

1 pack of The Jolly Hog Proper Porker British Sausages (or our Caramelised Porker caramelised onion sausages also work great for a pork stir fry recipe!)

1 spring onion

2 cloves of garlic

1 chilli (optional to add more!)

Handful of Thai basil leaves 

2 tbsp sesame oil 

2 tbsp water

1 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce (or fish sauce would also work well)

Method

To make this Thai basil pork stir fry recipe, begin by squeezing the meat out of our British sausages, into a bowl.

Combine all of the ingredients except from the spring onion, garlic and British sausage meat. Give it a good stir.

Heat a frying pan or wok with a bit of sesame oil and add in the garlic, spring onion and chopped chilli. Next, add in the sausage meat.

After a few minutes of frying – give it a good 5 minutes to help make the sausage meat go extra crispy for a caramelised crispy pork stir fry recipe. 

When the sausage meat is beginning to crisp, add in the Thai basil sauce for a minute and stir well. Toss through the basil leaves for the last minute. Serve up this pork Thai basil stir fry recipe with jasmine rice or sticky rice or with noodles like Toby and Matt did for our team lunch!
