Massive shout out to our Head of People Hannah Parkes for organising a surprise fun day & night out for the team on Friday. We treated the team to a game of netball (which got very competitive, Olly’s rugby days definitely showed), then we took part in a Ready, Steady, Cook style competition where we all made a three course meal in teams (there’s still some dispute as to who was the winner). We washed down our meals at a brewery in Bristol (and enjoyed some pizzas to soak up the ciders) then made our way to Ashton Gate to watch Bristol Bears vs London Irish. The night ended with us all singing & dancing along to ‘Sweet Caroline’ & even some cartwheeling from Warren Davis ? Absolutely epic stuff from Hannah (she even went to the effort of putting together a fake boring agenda for the day to throw the team off the surprise)
