Meet Tom, chief quiz maker in the office. Tom is our Operations Manager, meaning he oversees our Bristol restaurant, Pigsty, and Bath food kiosk, Jolly Hog: On The Trot. Tom’s in charge of making sure the teams at each site have the support the need for their growth (and also for popping in for some burgers for ‘quality control’) He also looks after the operational and back office systems and health and safety compliance – all the interesting stuff. Tom loves black pudding so his favourite The Jolly Hog product is our Porky Blacks. In terms of favourite food, Tom will tell you it’s Beef Stew and suet dumplings with mustard mash (fancy) but we can all agree it’s anything that he cooks in his air fryer – he’s obsessed. Tom’s favourite moment since being at The Jolly Hog was when the whole team visited his home town on a staff trip to Suffolk. We got a group photo outside his infamous ‘Wangford Village’ sign. Other things Tom is famous for is his lengthy and very niche quizzes and facts that he supplies the team with – plus his home brewed bacon vodka!
