• 1 pack of Jolly Hog Treacle bacon
• Cabbage
• Red Onions
• 2 tsp Brown sugar
• Olive oil or butter
• Chop a red onion into small slices & chop cabbage to make it shredded.
• Take a pack of our bacon and cut it into small strips then add to a large saucepan.
• Fry until the bacon goes crispy and remove, leaving it to the side for now.
• Leave the tasty bacon fat in the pan and add your onions in.
• Increase the heat to a medium heat and then, after 2 mins, chuck in your cabbage and then your brown sugar.
• Cook for another 5 minutes, or until the cabbage has gone tender (remember to keep stirring!)
• Time for the best part, toss the bacon back into the pan and stir for 1 minute then serve hot.
