You may look at this recipe and think, ‘what the…’ but trust us, this is a whole new level of Sunday brunch happiness.

1.     6 Jolly Hog Proper Porker sausages

2.     6 slices of white bread, crusts cut off

3.     2 eggs, whisked

4.     2 tblsp of sugar

5.     1 tsp of cinnamon

6.     tsp of oil

7.     Maple syrup to serve

1.     Pop the sausages in to cook

2.     Flatten the slices of bread individually by going over them with a rolling pin

3.     Make up two bowls one with the whisked egg and one with the sugar and cinnamon combined

4.     Once the sausages have cooked, let them cool a little so you don’t burn your fingers, then wrap them in a slice of bread each , dip in the egg so the bread soaks up the egg all over and then roll in the sugar and cinnamon mix. Do this with all 6 sausages

5.     In a frying pan heat up the oil and then fry off all of the wrapped sausages until the bread is golden

6.     Serve with a nice drizzle of maple syrup
