Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich Recipe

This Bacon, Egg and Cheese Sandwich Recipe is a great weekend brunch recipe. The secret to the best bacon sandwich recipes is always using top notch bacon, so of course we used our Black Treacle British Bacon, cured with a bittersweet black treacle and hand cut for extra thick cut bacon. We also love making a bacon and egg sandwich recipe even better by using top notch bread so we partnered with our fellow B Corp friends at Hobbs House Bakery for this one!

Ingredients

• Hobbs House Bakery Organic Turmeric & Chilli Sourdough
• The Jolly Hog Black Treacle Thick Cut British Bacon
• Fried Egg
• Cheese
• Fresh Rocket
• Mayo

Method

• Cook your The Jolly Hog Black Treacle British Bacon under the grill or in the oven. The perfect British bacon for a bacon sandwich recipe!
• Whilst your bacon is cooking slice your Hobbs House Bakery Organic Turmeric & Chilli Sourdough to your desired thickness.
• Once your bacon is cooked remove from the pan and set aside. In the same frying pan, cook your egg.
• Get your sliced bread and spread a layer on both slices, adding to one slice your cheese (we like a cheddar), bacon, fried egg and finish it off with your fresh rocket.
• Cut in half and enjoy this epic bacon, egg and cheese sandwich recipe.
