  • Start this bacon and cabbage gratin by heating your oven to 200.
  • For this cabbage with bacon recipe, you’ll want to chop our British bacon and add to an oven-safe skillet over a medium heat. Cook until crispy and set the bacon aside.
  • Add the chopped cabbage wedges to the pan and cook for 5 mins on both sides, allowing them to get charred in the bacon oils leftover.
  • After the cabbage has cooked on both sides, pour in the double cream and the grated gruyere and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook in the oven for 20 minutes or until it looks crispy and cheesy. Serve up as the ultimate Sunday Roast side dish recipe or Easter lunch side dish recipe.
