To make 250g bacon butter:
– 250g salted butter
– 2 rashers of our Black Treacle British Bacon
1. To make this bacon butter recipe, start by cooking your bacon in a frying pan or under the grill on a medium heat and cook until crispy. Reserve a tablespoon or two of the bacon fat from the pan.
2. Chop the crispy bacon into small pieces..
3. Add your butter, bacon and the bacon fat into a food processor and blend until it’s all well mixed and spread out.
4. You can roll the butter into a log and then wrap in clingfilm or beeswax paper, or simply spoon it into a bowl, and then put it in the fridge until you want to use it (normally it’s best left overnight or for a few hours)
5. For a super premium feel, serve your bacon butter up with extra bits of crispy bacon scattered on top!
